Aussie names jump on board
Some of our beloved Aussie names jumped on board and completed their Disney+ DNA. We had a chat to World Tennis Champion Ash Barty, entertainer and TV presenter, Rove McManus and singer Ricki-Lee Coulter to find out what their thoughts were on their DNA chart.
“I have always loved Simba and Moana. But when I found out that I was 56% The Hulk I was a bit surprised. Even though I didn’t know much about the big green guy I realised we shared some similarities... I’d like to think I have a bit of his endurance, determination and superhuman strength!” Ash Barty said.
Meanwhile, Rove McManus was surprised to learn his Disney+ DNA makeup.
“When I received my Disney+ DNA profile I must admit I was surprised to have so much Jedi wisdom in there with Obi-Wan and Yoda but as a fan of The Mandalorian series, to look as cute as baby Yoda creature does at fifty is something I now aspire to in my forties.”
Obsessed with all things Disney since she was a little girl, Ricke-Lee said: “Finding out my DNA was very surprising...I was honoured to be a mix of Ariel & Elsa - but I was very surprised to find out I am Groot.
“But then when I really thought about it, I realised that Groot uses his voice in a very unique way to communicate his feelings...and as a songwriter and a singer, I can really relate to that,” she added.
